Advocating for Policy Reform and Child Rights: Improving Pediatric Health Care in Immigration Detention

On May 2, 2024, the FXB Center for Health and Human Rights at Harvard University is hosting a virtual conversation on Child Migrants in Family Immigration Detention in the US. The event will take place from 12:00pm to 1:00pm EDT on Zoom and is open to all interested participants. To attend the webinar, registration is required through Zoom.

The discussion will focus on the key findings of the report titled “Child Migrants in Family Immigration Detention in the US: An Examination of Current Pediatric Care Standards and Practices”, which was published in January 2024. Speakers will discuss the impact of these findings on policy implications, legal challenges, transparency in border security processes, and oversight of child-specific procedures. Following the discussion, there will be a Q&A session for participants.
