US criminal arrested in St. Peter’s Square during meeting with Pope Francis

On April 10, a notorious American criminal named Moiss Tejada, 54 years old and considered one of the most dangerous by the state of NY, was arrested near St. Peter’s Square in Rome. The general audience of Pope Francisco was taking place at the time. According to reports from The Republic, Tejada had arrived in Italy from Kyiv and had transited through Moldova before reaching Rome.

On the day of his arrest, St. Peter’s Square was packed due to the presence of Pope Francis, and authorities noticed his suspicious behavior. Tejada is accused of kidnapping real estate agents in the US and is currently awaiting extradition proceedings. Investigators are now processing the US extradition request for him to face charges in his home country.
