Dayton Dragons Enhance Game-Day Experience with New Display Partnership with Daktronics

Dayton Dragons Enhance Game-Day Experience with Daktronics LED Technology Installation

The Dayton Dragons have recently partnered with Daktronics to improve their game-day experience by installing new displays at Day Air Ballpark in Dayton, Ohio. This includes two fence displays along the outfield wall and a home plate ribbon display that supplement the main outfield video board installed in 2015.

Dayton Dragons President Robert Murphy expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting Daktronics’ exceptional customer service, project implementation, and digital products. The two new fence displays, measuring 6 feet high by 40 feet wide and 6 feet high by 200 feet wide, feature high-quality imagery with wide-angle visibility due to their 10-millimeter pixel spacing. They are capable of displaying variable content zoning, allowing for multiple forms of content to be shown in different zones of the display face to cater to the team’s entertainment objectives for each event at the ballpark.

In addition to the fence displays, a new home plate ribbon board measuring 2.5 feet high by 10 feet wide was installed. This display also features 10-millimeter pixel spacing and supplements the content shown on the main video board and fence displays while providing an opportunity to showcase sponsors throughout events. Daktronics sales representative Joe Hernandez expressed excitement about collaborating with the Dayton Dragons on this project and emphasized the franchise’s commitment to enhancing the game-day experience for fans.
