Discover the Body in Art: Yves Klein and the Tangible World

Discovering Yves Klein’s Exploration of the Tangible World at Lévy Gorvy Dayan

Lévy Gorvy Dayan is hosting an exhibition titled “Yves Klein and the Tangible World” from May 1st to May 25th, 2024. The exhibition showcases Yves Klein’s involvement of the body in his art through a unique presentation of nearly 30 examples of his Anthropométries (1960–62) and Peintures de feu (Fire Paintings, 1960–62), along with Sculpture tactile (Tactile Sculpture, conceived around 1957).

One of the highlights of the exhibition is a first focused juxtaposition of these works, providing visitors with a comprehensive view of how Yves Klein engaged the body in his art. The film screening on May 1st will offer visitors an even deeper insight into the artist’s work and innovative use of sound and visuals in his art through Yves Klein’s Monotone-Silence Symphony.

For more information on the exhibition and film screening, please visit the Lévy Gorvy Dayan website or contact the gallery directly. This is a unique opportunity to explore the groundbreaking work of Yves Klein and experience the transformative power of art in a tangible and immersive way.
