Jessica Casano-Antonellis Lands Job with Disney, Fox, WBD Sports Venture

Jessica Casano-Antonellis, who previously served as senior vice president of communications at SiriusXM, has been appointed to the position of senior vice president of communications at the new sports joint venture formed by Disney, Fox, and Warner Bros. Discovery. In her new role, she will oversee all communications and be a part of the company’s executive leadership team, reporting directly to CEO Pete Distad.

Prior to this new role, Casano-Antonellis held various positions in the media industry, including vice president of communications for Disney+ and Hulu and head of global communications at Vimeo. Her experience in direct-to-consumer streaming makes her an ideal candidate for the position.

Distad expressed his confidence in Casano-Antonellis by stating that her ability to lead successful global launches and manage brand narratives will serve her well in this new venture. He believes that she will play a crucial role in launching a new streaming service for sports fans this fall.
