Double Loss for University of Jamestown Baseball Team: Streak Continues in Conference Play

Jimmies baseball suffers home sweep by Morningside – Jamestown Sun

On Sunday, April 21, the University of Jamestown baseball team suffered a 4-1 loss to Morningside University at Jack Brown Stadium. The Jimmies managed to muster only two hits in the game, but catcher Triston Madison stood out with a double and a strikeout. The Mustangs scored first in the game and eventually took home a three-run home run from Aiden Bishop to secure their victory.

In the second game of the doubleheader, the Jimmies struggled on the mound and lost 11-3 to Morningside. Despite falling behind early, Triston Madison stepped up once again with a two-run home run in the third inning. However, Morningside continued to score, building their lead throughout the game. Eddie Branacato was a standout player for the Mustangs, finishing the game with impressive stats.
