Dragon Ball Z Theme Park Set to Revolutionize Leisure and Entertainment in Saudi Arabia

The first Dragon Ball Z theme park in the world is being constructed in Saudi Arabia.

In Germany, the 2019 Gamescom gaming trade fair was a hotspot for gamers eager to experience the latest version of Dragon Ball Z Kakarot. Meanwhile, in Saudi Arabia, plans were underway to create the first-ever Dragon Ball Z theme park as part of the kingdom’s Qiddiya project.

The theme park will feature seven different areas inspired by locations from the original anime series and will include over 30 themed rides, including five world-first attractions. One standout ride is the Shenron roller coaster, which will soar to heights of 230 feet.

In addition to the theme park, a collaboration between Japan-based manga producer Toei Animation and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s foundation, MiSK, is set to create anime movies that will captivate audiences worldwide. The kingdom’s investment in video games and anime reflects a growing interest in these forms of entertainment.

Qiddiya City, the planned multibillion-dollar project in Riyadh, aims to offer a wide range of attractions, including golf courses, theme parks, and hotels. With ambitions to host 600,000 residents and millions of visitors annually, Qiddiya City is poised to transform Saudi Arabia into a leading destination for leisure and entertainment.

As part of Vision 2030, Saudi Arabia’s ambitious initiative to diversify the economy and boost tourism, the country aims to attract 150 million tourists annually by 2030. With record-breaking numbers already achieved, the kingdom is well on its way to becoming a global hub for tourism and cultural experiences.
