An American woman in her 80s was tragically killed by an elephant while on a car safari in Zambia last weekend. The incident occurred in the Kafue National Park, where the elephant, which had become separated from its herd, unexpectedly started chasing the tourists as they were guided through the park.

One of the tourists caught the chase on film before the driver had to stop the vehicle due to a road block caused by vegetation. The elephant managed to tip over the vehicle with its tusks, resulting in serious injuries to another tourist who had to be evacuated to a hospital in South Africa.
