The Gaming Matters Dubai Conference is set to hold a public forum on 29 April 2024 from 3pm to 6pm at the Museum of the Future in Dubai. The aim of this event is to equip and enhance the skills of the next generation of gaming industry leaders. The Gaming Matters Academy, an initiative by the Emirate, is organizing this conference, showcasing its renewed focus on technology and its advancements.
At the Museum of the Future, international gaming industry experts will provide training, guidance, and knowledge throughout the day. The Gaming Matters Academy aims to be a platform for individuals interested in pursuing a career in gaming, whether they are passionate gamers or aspiring managers or beginners.
The event will feature sessions with prominent figures in the gaming industry such as Jasper Donat, CEO of Branded, Faisal Kazim, Director of Dubai Future Foundation, Je Alipio of The Walt Disney Company, Sean Taylor from Abertay University, Mike McCabe of Epic Games, Charlie Baillie from Ampverse, José Macedo of EA Sports FC and Robert Fisser from PlayStation. Additionally, there will be panel discussions and a closing panel.
