Empowering Health and Wellness in Central Ohio: Austin-Bailey Foundation Awards $172,100 in Grants and Scholarships

11 grants approved by the Austin-Bailey Health and Wellness Foundation

The Austin-Bailey Health and Wellness Foundation recently approved grants totaling $172,100 for 11 nonprofit organizations in Holmes, Stark, Tuscarawas, and Wayne counties. These grants support programs that promote the physical and mental well-being of residents in the area.

In addition to these grants, the foundation also provides $43,000 in scholarships to students studying health-related subjects at various local universities.

The foundation awarded these grants to a variety of nonprofit organizations, including the American Red Cross for blood drives, Ascend Services for recovery through peer support, and Aultman College for radiography equipment. Other recipients include Beacon Charitable Pharmacy, Feed Kids First, The Grace Project, Heart of Ohio Diaper Bank, Malone University, Trinity United Church of Christ, Tuscarawas Clinic for the Working Uninsured, and Vantage Aging.

The Austin-Bailey Health and Wellness Foundation offers two grant cycles each year and welcomes requests from organizations working in health and wellness. Nonprofits interested in applying for a grant should contact the foundation office at 330-580-2380 to discuss their project or program.
