Annual Bakersfield Women’s Conference Promotes Women Empowerment through Unified Support

Thousands of women gathered at the Mechanic’s Bank Convention Center in downtown Bakersfield for the 34th-annual Bakersfield Women’s Business Conference, which emphasized resilience, innovation, and determination. The theme “Making the Impossible Possible” set the tone for a day filled with empowerment and inspiration.

The conference has been providing women with a platform to support each other in their personal and professional endeavors for years. This year, attendees were treated to keynote speeches from prominent figures such as Marlee Matlin, an Academy Award-winning actress, author, and activist. Mari Perez-Dowling, the CEO of United Way of Central Eastern California, closed out the conference with a powerful message of inspiration.

Throughout the day, various workshops and vendors offered attendees the opportunity to learn and network.
