Webinar: Evaluating Ag Worker Wellbeing with a Total Worker Health/Total Farmer Health Approach

As a journalist, I have rewritten the article to make it unique:

Community leaders in the San Luis Valley, Colorado are raising concerns over the mental and physical wellbeing of agriculture workers. To address this issue, we have developed an interactive assessment that evaluates worker wellbeing based on the Total Worker Health® and Total Farmer Health® frameworks. We received responses from 118 participants, allowing us to analyze the data effectively.

Our presentation will focus on various aspects of worker wellbeing, including job satisfaction, coworker support, work affect, work fatigue, overall health status, chronic health conditions, individual stress levels, general mental health status, substance use, work injuries, social support networks, anxiety levels and depression. The target audience for this presentation includes agricultural industry leaders, healthcare providers and behavioral health clinicians.

The objectives of our training session are to help participants identify sources of stress for agriculture workers in the San Luis Valley region of Colorado. It aims to recognize different levels of behavioral health risk factors and behaviors associated with it as well as evaluate these factors from a work-centric perspective.
