Evanston Township High School Hosts Evening of Appreciation for New Health Science Center

ETHS celebrates grand opening of new Health Science Center with Evening of Appreciation on April 16.

Evanston Township High School is thrilled to host an Evening of Appreciation in honor of the new Health Science Center, which will be officially unveiled on Tuesday, April 16 at 6 p.m. The event will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a complimentary reception, giving guests the chance to explore the state-of-the-art facility and learn about the courses and certification programs it offers.

The Health Science Center is a cutting-edge facility that features a simulated hospital setting with five patient bed setups and industry-standard medical equipment. It was made possible through over $800,000 in private donations from alumni and community partners who recognized the importance of providing students with hands-on experience in healthcare education.

During the evening, attendees will have the opportunity to tour the Health Science Center and learn more about its offerings. From immersive lab experiences to specialized healthcare programs, this facility will equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their chosen careers in healthcare.

In addition to visiting the Health Science Center, guests can also explore the Literacy Lab, which was established in 2020 with generous support from donors. This innovative space demonstrates Evanston Township High School’s commitment to supporting students with emerging literacy needs.

Interested individuals are encouraged to RSVP by April 12 for this exciting evening celebrating the future of healthcare education at Evanston Township High School.
