Evezari Sleep Technology Collaboration

Evezary, a South Korean bedding manufacturer, has partnered with the Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology (KAIST) to tackle sleep disorders like insomnia and sleep apnea through technological advancements. The collaboration aims to establish a sleep research center focused on creating an artificial intelligence solution to evaluate sleep quality. This innovative approach is motivated by research demonstrating the crucial role of sleep in clearing toxic substances from the brain, as well as the potential connection between sleep disturbances and brain diseases.

Evezary has demonstrated its commitment to this project by investing one billion won ($747,384) in shares for joint research initiatives. This partnership is part of a larger trend in South Korea, where companies are increasingly investing in sleep-care devices to address the growing prevalence of sleep disorders. Through their joint efforts, they hope to develop cutting-edge solutions that will enhance the overall well-being of individuals struggling with sleep disorders.

The collaboration between KAIST and Evezary is focused on developing AI-powered monitoring tools for sleep and conducting research on sleep regulation. By leveraging the expertise of KAIST in scientific research and the industry knowledge of Evezary, this partnership is poised to make significant strides in improving sleep quality and addressing sleep-related health issues.
