One beneficiary of these programs is Ibrahim Ayu, who faced federal charges back in 2023 but found support through the Midtown Community Justice Center. Ayu attributes his successful turnaround to the center, which helped him avoid jail time. Dr. Dayana Jimenez, owner of Manhattan Teen & Young Adult Psychology, underscored the significance of early intervention for youth mental health.
