Explore and Discover Nature at Discovery Bay: A Family-Friendly Event on Isle of Wight

Join us at the Discovery Bay event to Celebrate the Wonders of Nature and Science

Discovery Bay is returning to the Isle of Wight this weekend, bringing nature, wildlife, science and community together for a unique event that is sure to be a hit. The event will take place at Browns Golf Course and the green space by the sea in Sandown, with activities and opportunities for all ages.

Guests can expect a wide range of wildlife activities, including a pop-up natural history museum, the National Trust, National Poo Museum, Wildheart Trust, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust, Red Squirrel Trust, Wight Coast Fossils and Shademakers carnival artists from Hullabaloo. There will also be community sports activities to participate in.

In addition to the fun and games, Island Nature will be present at Discovery Bay to gather suggestions on how to support wildlife on the Isle of Wight. This is a great opportunity for everyone to contribute to the Isle of Wight’s Local Nature Recovery Strategy. The event will run from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, May 18th and refreshments will be available at the new PLUTO cafe at Browns.
