The Portage County Health District is hosting an Open House and Community Health Fair on April 3 from 2 to 6 p.m. at its office located at 999 E. Main St., Ravenna. During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on educational events that showcase the district’s programs and services.
In addition to educational tables and activities, there will be over 20 community partners present at the fair, including food trucks and giveaways for attendees. Information about health and community resources, as well as funding for septic issues, will also be available.
Non-profit organizations such as United Way, Community Action Council, Family and Community Services, and various county agencies will be on hand to offer valuable information to participants. One of the highlights of the event will be a drawing for a Fitbit Inspire, which will be awarded as the grand prize to one lucky attendee. This Open House and Community Health Fair promises to be an informative and engaging event for all who attend.
