He made headlines after his third NFL season when he held out for a new contract, eventually securing a deal with a favorable structure that kept him with the team longer than anticipated. During his time with the Cowboys, Elliott earned accolades such as All-Pro and Pro Bowler as a rookie, and continued to receive Pro Bowl nods in 2017 and 2018.
