Falcons Bring Back Defensive Tackle Eddie Goldman for a Fresh Start in New Deal

Eddie Goldman set to make a comeback with the Falcons

The Falcons have let go of defensive tackle Eddie Goldman from their reserve/left squad list, but it seems that the team may not be done with him just yet. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, Goldman is expected to sign a new deal with the team soon.

Goldman first joined the Falcons in July 2022, but he retired shortly after. He then returned to the active roster last March, but left once again in July without ever playing a game for them. However, his most recent on-field action was during the 2021 season with the Bears, where he appeared in 14 games and recorded 22 tackles and a half-sack.

Despite his recent absence from the field, Goldman’s skill and potential are evident, and the Falcons seem keen on bringing him back into the fold. His upcoming new deal signifies a fresh start for Goldman with the team, and fans will be eager to see how he performs in the upcoming season.
