Supporting New Talents in Italian Video Games: First Playable Coaching 2024

The Italian Association of Interactive Entertainment Developers (IIDEA) has announced the launch of First Playable Coaching 2024, a program aimed at supporting emerging development studios in Italy. The initiative includes a series of free individual coaching sessions from 22nd April to 7th June 2024, leading up to the highly anticipated First Playable business event set to take place in Florence from 3rd to 5th July.

First Playable Coaching 2024 is organized by IIDEA and the Toscana Film Commission in collaboration with the Fondazione Sistema Toscana, the ICE Agency, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. This program aims to create opportunities for developers to showcase their projects to international publishers and investors.

The coaching sessions will involve 15 industry expert mentors who will share their expertise to help participants prepare and present their pitches effectively, identify suitable publishers for their projects, and offer strategic advice to maximize success during the event. Notable professionals involved in the coaching program include Valerio Di Donato, CEO of 34BigThings, Elisa Farinetti, Business Developer at Broken Arms Games, Yves Hohler, CEO & Co-Founder of Broken Arms Games, and other industry experts from renowned companies.
