The latest data from the Census Bureau for the period of July 1, 2022, to June 30, 2023 revealed that Florida cities are among the top destinations for movers across the country.

Wildwood-The Villages in Florida had the highest net domestic migration rate per 1,000 people, making it a popular destination for those seeking new opportunities and a change of scenery. Despite having a net domestic migration value of 8,684, Wildwood-The Villages stood out with a thriving population growth rate of around 4.7% from July 1, 2022, to July 1, 2023.

Myrtle Beach-Conway-North Myrtle Beach in South Carolina came next with a net domestic migration rate per 1,000 people around 39. Other cities on the list include Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater in Florida and Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington in Texas.
