NFL rookies report for training camp as high school sports playoffs are underway

In Florida, football is not the only sport that has everyone buzzing with excitement. High school sports playoffs are in full swing, with teams across the state preparing for spring games and gearing up for their respective playoffs.

The NFL rookies of the Miami Dolphins, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers will report to camp on May 10th, giving fans a first look at the players who were drafted just a few weeks ago. There is anticipation surrounding which players will make an immediate impact on their respective teams.

Among the Florida NFL teams, there are high hopes for Dolphins linebacker David Long, who is expected to inspire young players on the team. Jaguars’ Josh Allen believes Maason Smith will bring a significant presence to the team, while Gene Frenette has high expectations for Thomas as well.
