Football Fans Unite with Henry Ford Health: Celebrating the Win-Win Partnership Between the Lions and Healthcare

Henry Ford Health partners with Dan Campbell of the Detroit Lions for NFL Draft advertisement

Henry Ford Health rolled out a 60-second ad during the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft, celebrating its commitment to providing care to the Metro Detroit area and the state of Michigan. The spot was narrated by Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell, who emphasized the health system’s mission of courage, resilience, and unwavering commitment.

The campaign featured members of the provider organization and Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, who is a brand ambassador for Henry Ford Health. The decision to lean into Detroit’s love of football came after the Lions won their first playoff game since 1992 and made it to the NFC Conference Championship game.

In addition to the TV spot, Henry Ford Health also unveiled a timely out-of-home activation throughout draft weekend, with billboards throughout the city reading “With the first pick, Detroit selects: Henry Ford Health.” The organization plans to promote the campaign across TV, digital and social media platforms in the future.
