Former Syracuse Guard Arrested on Drug-Related Charges Amidst Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Sex Trafficking Investigation

Brendan Paul, Former Syracuse player, arrested on drug charges for allegedly being a courier for Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs

Former Syracuse guard Brendan Paul was arrested in Miami on drug-related charges. According to Miami-Dade police records, he was charged with felonies for the possession of suspected cocaine and marijuana candy. The arrest took place while federal agents were raiding rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs’ properties in Los Angeles and Miami as part of an alleged sex trafficking investigation.

Although Paul was released on bond, he is scheduled for a hearing in April. The timing of his arrest coincided with the raid on Combs’ properties, but they are not related. However, allegations have emerged linking Paul to Combs’ legal troubles. In a federal lawsuit filed in February, it was claimed that Paul worked as Combs’ “mule,” acquiring and distributing drugs and guns.

Despite these claims, Combs has denied any involvement in sex trafficking and Paul’s attorney has stated that they intend to address the issues in court rather than through the media. Brendan Paul started his basketball career at Syracuse before transferring to Division-II Fairmont State to finish his collegiate career. Despite his brief tenure at Syracuse, his name has now become associated with Combs’ legal troubles.
