Bartlesville High School freshman Jay Wasemiller has qualified for the State tournament in boy’s golf after an impressive performance at Regionals. Wasemiller led his team with a shot of 76, and despite finishing in 10th place as a team, Bartlesville had two other players, Lucas Wyatt and Nash Zervas, both shoot under 90.
Wasemiller’s achievement as a freshman is particularly noteworthy, and he will be competing in the State tournament on Monday and Tuesday at the Oaks Country Club in Tulsa. Stay tuned for updates on Wasemiller’s performance at the State tournament early next week.
