Elysée honors Chef of the Quirinale, Macron impressed by his culinary creations

An Italian chef has been recognized by the Elysée for outstanding culinary talent. Fabrizio Boca, the executive chef of the Presidency of the Italian Republic, received the insignia of Officer of the Ministerial Order of Agricultural Merit from Guillaume Gomez, Ambassador for gastronomy, and Special Envoy of the President of the French Republic for gastronomy and food.

The award was presented to Boca in recognition of his career, which spans over 30 years and includes serving kings, queens, and heads of state at the Quirinale. Boca’s dishes have impressed guests like Macron and his wife Brigitte with their creativity and innovation. The French Ambassador praised Boca’s commitment to social inclusion and innovative culinary techniques.

Boca has been working for the Presidency of the Republic for three decades and has collaborated with various organizations on social inclusion projects. One such project is with the Italian Association of people with Down syndrome, where Boca not only serves powerful guests but also trains aspiring chefs. These initiatives are part of Quirinale’s efforts to promote diversity and inclusion in the culinary world.

In addition to his work at Quirinale, Boca has founded OCUCO cooking and table arts school, where he focuses on promoting Italian regional excellence and traditional recipes. Through his dedication to education and innovation in the culinary field, Boca continues to leave a mark on gastronomy worldwide.
