Omar’s funeral was held at the Nachalat Yitzhak cemetery in Givatayim. The family requested privacy and the media was barred from covering the funeral, which was considered private. Omar, a resident of Givatayim and a theater major at Thelma Yelin High School, had served in a military band before continuing his studies at Yoram Levinstein’s acting school. His big break came in the first season of the show “The Next Star”. He later performed at the Bhima Theater and the Meditech Theater with the “Children of the Tree House”.
