Report Identifies Alarming Rise in Anti-Semitism on Global Scale

New research by Tel Aviv University and the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) sheds light on a global increase in anti-Semitism, with countries with a significant Jewish population like the United States, France, United Kingdom, Argentina, Germany, Australia, and Brazil seeing a rapid rise in anti-Semitic incidents since the beginning of the conflict in the Middle East.

The data collected from official sources, Jewish organizations, and media platforms shows that anti-Semitic incidents have been on the rise even before the Israeli counteroffensive in Gaza following an attack by Hamas on October 7. In the US, for example, there were approximately 3,500 incidents reported between January and September 2023, increasing to almost 4,000 in the last three months of the year. This was an increase from 3,697 incidents in 2022 and 2,717 in 2021.
