Hamas leader Ismail Haniye stated that the recent bombing of his children by Israeli forces will not deter the group from continuing negotiations for a ceasefire in Gaza. He emphasized that Hamas will continue to fight for the rights of the Palestinian people and resist until they achieve their demands.
Haniye revealed that his children were visiting family during Eid al Fitr when they were attacked, and he sees their deaths as part of the ongoing struggle between Palestine and Israel. Another Hamas official accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of using deceitful tactics to prevent a ceasefire agreement. The Israeli Army claimed responsibility for the bombing, stating that they were targeting Hamas military agents.
This is not the first time Haniye has lost a family member due to Israeli attacks; his granddaughter also died in a previous bombing. The conflict between Israel and Gaza has resulted in thousands of deaths, with Palestinians in the West Bank and East Jerusalem also facing violence from Israeli security forces and settlers. Despite this tragedy, Hamas remains resolute in its pursuit of justice and a ceasefire in the region.
