Hearing Loss and Fire Safety: Chattanooga Fire Department Official to Speak at Local Church

The Fire Prevention Technology Program for Individuals with Hearing Loss is Scheduled for April 21

On Sunday, April 21 at 2 p.m., Fire and Life Safety coordinator Allen Green of CFD will be presenting a program on “Fire Prevention Technology for People With Hearing Loss” at Lake Hills Church of Christ in Chattanooga. Mr. Green, who is a native Chattanoogan with a degree in chemistry from UTC, has been with the Chattanooga Fire Department since 2012 and is passionate about helping people stay safe through education and prevention efforts.

The program, organized by the Hearing Loss Association of America Chattanooga Chapter, is open to the public and will include captions for accessibility.
