Hickman Shuts Out Jefferson City with Impressive 6-0 Victory: Relentless Kewpies Break Winning Streak

In hopes of ending a three-game losing streak, the Hickman girls soccer team faced off against 10-win Jefferson City. The Kewpies emerged victorious with a shutout win, defeating the Jays 6-0.

The game began in earnest as Ada Kirkpatrick scored the first goal for Hickman in the 6th minute. Just six minutes later, Lucy Elfrink extended the lead by finding the back of the net. With their excellent play, Hickman continued to dominate and added another goal before halftime to take a commanding 3-0 lead.

In the second half, Hickman’s attack remained relentless and they scored three more goals, including one off a corner kick from Kira Hoenes. With this victory, Hickman’s record now stands at 5-4 for the season while Jefferson City drops to 10-3.

Next on the schedule for Hickman is a trip to Smith-Cotton on Friday, while Jefferson City will have some time off until next Monday when they face Battle on the road.
