Historic Partnership Between PCSFN and USTA Promotes Nutrition and Physical Activity in Communities Across the Country

USTA collaborates with White House sports and nutrition committee as the first national governing body

The President’s Council on Sports, Fitness and Nutrition (PCSFN) and the United States Tennis Association (USTA) have formed a historic partnership aimed at promoting nutrition and physical activity in communities across the country. This collaboration, announced at the Miami Open, will bring national health and nutrition programs to these areas, making a positive impact on individuals’ lives.

Established in 1956, the PCSFN is a federal advisory committee focused on improving the health and wellness of Americans through sports and physical activity. With this new partnership, the USTA will help expand the reach of PCSFN’s initiatives by bringing them to communities where tennis is played.

During the announcement, second gentleman Douglas Emhoff expressed gratitude to the USTA for their commitment to this important work. He emphasized how this partnership aligns with President Biden, Vice President Harris, and the Biden-Harris Administration’s efforts to combat hunger and promote healthy communities in the United States. This collaboration exemplifies both organizations’ dedication to improving individuals’ well-being through sports, fitness, and nutrition initiatives.
