On May 1, 2024, the Arkansas Tech University Department of History and Political Science held its spring awards ceremony. During the event, Jeffrey C. Weaver was honored with the Thomas A. DeBlack Award. Dr. Kelly Jones, an associate professor of history, presented Weaver with his award.
