This will mark the country’s first time hosting the event, which is expected to take place from October 19th to October 25th next year. With a population of approximately 280 million, Indonesia has previously hosted the 2018 Asian Games, where gymnastics competitions were held in a hall within the Jakarta International Expo complex.
The venue for the championships is listed as IMS Arena. However, it is worth noting that world championships held after an Olympic year typically do not include men’s and women’s team events. This is because these events are typically longer than one week and are only individual events. The most recent world championships were held in Antwerp, Belgium last year, and the upcoming championships have been awarded to Rotterdam, Netherlands and Chengdu, China.
