Israeli Army Advances into Specific Areas of Gaza City, Issues Evacuation Order for Eastern Neighborhoods of Rafah

Rafah Community Receives Flyers, Phone Calls, and Messages

The Israeli army is currently advancing into specific areas of the eastern part of Gaza City, requiring Palestinians to evacuate to Rafah before launching an offensive on the southern Gaza Strip. The Times of Israel reports that the evacuation order has been issued by the Israeli army, providing instructions on which routes to take to reach a designated humanitarian zone.

The evacuation order applies only to some eastern neighborhoods of Rafah, not the entire city. The IDF has published a map of the areas included in the order, and spokesman Avichay Adraee announced that residents in neighborhoods like Al-Salam, Al-Jeneina, Tabet Ziraa, and Al-Byouk have been asked to evacuate immediately to the expanded humanitarian area of Al-Mawasi.

According to Adraee’s statement, residents in these neighborhoods are being asked to temporarily relocate from their homes as a result of “a gradual progression” in accordance with the current situation. The humanitarian zone in al-Mawasi and Khan Younis includes field hospitals and tent cities for displaced people.
