The University of Jamestown softball team secured a 3-1 victory over Morningside University in the first game of their doubleheader at the Mustangs’ Jensen Softball Complex. The Jimmies took an early lead with Abby Blair driving in a run in the top of the first inning. They added another run to make it 2-0 before the Mustangs scored in the third to bring the score to 2-1. In the fifth inning, the Jimmies sealed the win with a run-scoring single from Gracie Fisher, making it 3-1.
