On April 25th, Williams Elementary School in Jonesville hosted its annual Science and Math night. The event was well-attended by hundreds of students and their families who enjoyed pizza while engaging in various STEM activities. Stations were set up throughout the school building for participants to explore different aspects of science, technology, engineering, and math. The night was made possible with the support of the community, teachers, and students in the National Honor Society.
One of the biggest attractions of the event was Camp Michindoh, which provided hands-on experiences with various species of animals, delighting attendees of all ages. The Jonesville Middle and High School robotics teams also participated, showcasing their robots and coding skills to elementary-age students. This demonstration highlighted how robotic coding translates into real-life action, offering a unique learning experience for all involved.
