Brooks Koepka triumphs at LIV-Singapore ahead of PGA Championship title defense

Brooks Koepka secured his fourth LIV title in Singapore with a 3-under 68, finishing two strokes ahead of Australians Marc Leishman and Cameron Smith. The American golfer had four birdies and one bogey over three rounds at Sentosa Golf Club, totaling 15-under 198.

Talor Gooch finished in fourth place with a score of 3-under 67, just three strokes behind Koepka. Gooch expressed satisfaction with his recent win, attributing it to his hard work both on and off the golf course.

Jon Rahm finished six strokes behind Koepka and tied for tenth place, despite struggling throughout the tournament. However, Rahm has consistently placed in the top ten in all seven events of the 2024 season.

The team title was claimed by Ripper GC, led by Leishman and Smith, who finished at an impressive 32-under for the tournament. This was just three strokes ahead of Fireballs GC and Cleeks GC. The next LIV tournament is scheduled for June 7-9 in Houston, Texas.
