Las Vegas-Clark County Libraries Host STEAM Month Extravaganza with 3D Printing, Technology Petting Zoo and More!

Month-long celebration at the Library District features complimentary science and technology events during STEAM Month.

The Las Vegas-Clark County Libraries are excited to celebrate their annual STEAM Month with a series of free events that showcase Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math subjects. Emily Wirshing, the Outreach Services Manager, is thrilled about the month-long celebration and highlighted the popular 3D printing program offered by the library. To participate in this program, individuals must be at least 10 years old and have a library card.

The library district has lined up a range of events for STEAM Month that cater to different age groups. The Technology Petting Zoo is perfect for young children to explore and learn about technology through interactive exhibits. Meanwhile, the LEGO League is designed for teenagers who want to unleash their creativity and build something amazing using LEGO bricks. For those who love robotics, the Battle of the Bots is an exciting event that challenges participants to design and build their own robots to compete in a series of challenges.
