The Detroit Sports Spectacular is an upcoming event that will take place from Friday, June 7 through Sunday, June 9 at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, Michigan. This exciting sports extravaganza will bring together a host of legendary athletes and sports greats for a weekend of unforgettable experiences.
One of the highlights of the event is the reunion of the Detroit Tigers’ 1984 World Series championship team, including Kirk Gibson, Alan Trammell, Jack Morris, and more. Football legend Barry Sanders will also be in attendance on Saturday, along with Thurman Thomas, Billy Sims, and Andre Rison. Current NFL players like Kirk Cousins and Anthony Richardson, as well as Lions players Kerby Joseph, Brian Branch, and Donovan Peoples-Jones, are scheduled to appear as well.
In addition to these exciting sports stars, hockey Hall of Famer Mike Modano and members of the Michigan Wolverines’ 2023 National Championship team will also be at the event. Other notable guests include Darren McCarty, Jim Kaat, Steve Garvey, and Mickey Stanley.
