The long-awaited event unites mysticism and science, attracting thousands

The total eclipse of the Sun in Mexico was met with curiosity, joy, and applause from spectators. Across the country, people gathered to witness the phenomenon in its entirety or a partial eclipse. Spectators cheered and applauded, creating a celebratory atmosphere during the rare astronomical event. In Guanajuato, activities were organized at various archaeological sites to observe the eclipse. The Hidalgo Astronomical Society has long advocated for the creation of an observatory in the area to promote stargazing opportunities.
