Microsoft Postpones Launch of New Copilot Features to Fine-Tune Based on User Feedback: Insider Preview Build 22635.3570 Released

Microsoft pauses development of upcoming Copilot features to enhance them

Microsoft has postponed the launch of new features for Copilot in order to fine-tune them based on user feedback. The company will unveil more details and updates about its AI technology and assistant during its annual developer conference, Microsoft Build, from May 21 to May 23.

In addition to this, Microsoft has released Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22635.3570 (KB5037008) in the Beta channel, which includes bug fixes from the previous version. The company is currently testing different experiences for Copilot on Windows, one of which allows Copilot to function as a standard application window and display a dynamic taskbar icon.

However, despite these advancements, Microsoft has decided to delay the deployment of these experiences in order to further refine them using user feedback. Copilot on Windows will continue to work as intended while Microsoft works on developing new ideas with participants in the Windows Insider program.

Moreover, Microsoft announced that it will document changes made in builds within the Windows Beta Channel in two categories: one for new features, improvements and fixes being gradually rolled out, and another for updates and new features available to everyone in the Beta Channel. These changes will be implemented gradually and will be optional for users.

Some of the corrections currently being implemented in the Beta Channel include fixing wide spaces between desktop icons and unexpected address bar menus while using File Explorer among other issues.

Overall, Microsoft remains committed to improving its AI technology and assistant through user feedback and continuous development efforts.
