As he was entering a store, a 4-foot concrete saw blade broke loose from a nearby construction site and almost hit him as it embedded itself into the store’s exterior wall just inches away from the door he had just entered. The incident was like something out of a horror movie, but Reimche miraculously escaped unharmed.
The store’s video surveillance camera captured the terrifying moment, which has since gone viral. The store owner has reported that the entire business shook from the impact of the blade hitting the wall. The construction company responsible for the blade believes a loose bolt may have been the cause of the dangerous situation.
Reflecting on the incident, Reimche remarked that while it wasn’t his time to go, it was the closest he had ever come to a life-threatening situation. The near-death experience serves as a reminder of how unpredictable life can be and the importance of being grateful for every moment.
