Morgan Stanley commits $20 million to support children’s mental health initiative

Morgan Stanley has announced a $20 million pledge over five years to support its children’s mental health initiative, bringing the total commitment to $50 million since the program began in 2020. The bank is dedicated to giving back, especially in the area of children’s health, as emphasized by CEO Ted Pick who is also the chair of the group’s advisory board.

This significant pledge marks one of the first major charitable commitments made by Morgan Stanley since Pick assumed leadership in January. As part of this new pledge, the bank will be funding an education center operated by the American Academy of Pediatrics and Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit organization behind the iconic children’s show Sesame Street. The focus will be on supporting children in marginalized communities in the United States.

The Morgan Stanley Alliance for Children’s Mental Health supports nonprofit organizations that conduct research and implement programs focused on youth mental health. This continued investment reflects the bank’s ongoing commitment to making a positive impact on the well-being of young people across the country.
