Mysterious Commercial Fire Causes Smoke and Water Damage in Summerville, SC

Early Morning Business Fire Prompted Response from Summerville Fire Crews

On Sunday morning, a commercial fire on the 1200 block of Old Trolley Road in Summerville, South Carolina caused smoke and water damage to multiple businesses. The fire was reported just after 4:30 a.m., and Summerville Police closed Old Trolley Road at Beverly Drive to allow firefighters to respond.

Upon arrival, crews found no visible signs of fire from the outside, but they encountered smoke and heat upon entry. This indicated that a fire was present within the building. The fire was quickly located and controlled in less than five minutes, but neighboring businesses were affected by smoke and water damage.
