Naomi Ebenstein’s Urgent Call for Action: Combatting Anti-Semitism in the 21st Century

Fear of vandalism leads to covering Holocaust memorial in Great Britain

Holocaust survivor Naomi Ebenstein, 82, strongly condemned recent acts of anti-Semitism as “shameful” and a “victory” for those who hate Jews and deny the Holocaust. She emphasized the urgency of the situation and urged the world to wake up to the dangers of anti-Semitism. This call comes in light of the swastikas raised in London, which have sparked concerns among many people.

In response to these events, Lord Pickles has expressed his disappointment at the decision to cover a national Holocaust memorial near the Houses of Parliament with a tarp out of fear of vandalism. He questioned whether the country had become so scared that they were hiding monuments to protect them from destruction rather than expecting protesters to obey the law.

These troubling events have led to a growing concern about the rise of anti-Semitism and its impact on society. Many leaders and survivors are speaking out against these acts of hatred and calling for solidarity and awareness to fight against all forms of discrimination. The need for action is urgent, and it is up to everyone to take responsibility for combating this issue head-on.
