New Browns Addition Jerry Jeudy Set to Boost Cleveland’s Offensive Capabilities with Deshaun Watson Excited for Addition to Receiving Corps

Deshaun Watson praises Browns’ trade for Jerry Jeudy as “amazing”

The Browns acquired a new member to their receiving corps in March, as they traded for Jerry Jeudy. Following the trade, the team signed him to a contract extension that will keep him in Cleveland until 2027. During the opening of his new restaurant in Cleveland, quarterback Deshaun Watson expressed his excitement about Jeudy joining the team, calling it “amazing.”

Watson mentioned that he had been aware of General Manager Andrew Berry’s intentions to trade for Jeudy for some time. Despite some delays, Watson praised Berry for getting the deal done. He also highlighted the chemistry between Jeudy, Amari Cooper, and Elijah Moore, noting that the three receivers have been working together throughout the offseason.

Jeudy is a four-year veteran with impressive stats under his belt. In his career, he has accumulated 211 receptions for 3,053 yards and 11 touchdowns. Last season alone, he played in 16 games and recorded 54 catches for 758 yards and two touchdowns. The addition of Jeudy to the Browns’ roster is expected to enhance their offensive capabilities and give Watson more options to throw the ball to.
