Noah Lyles Leads US Men’s Team in World Athletics Relays Bahamas 24: Preparing for Olympic Games in Paris

Noah Lyles, the reigning world champion in both the men’s 100m and 200m events, is preparing for the upcoming Olympic Games in Paris in 2024. This weekend, he will be competing at the World Athletics Relays Bahamas 24 on May 4th and 5th as part of his journey to achieve his goals.

Lyles will lead the US men’s team in Nassau, alongside Tokyo 2020 silver medalist in the 100m, Kenny Bednarek, and Courtney Lindsey, who currently holds the world lead in the 200m for 2024. The fourth member of their 4x100m relay team is yet to be announced.

The men’s 4x100m relay heats will take place at 20:25 local Nassau time on Saturday, with a repechage round scheduled for Sunday at 19:05 for teams that do not automatically qualify for the finals. The final will be held at 21:40 on Sunday.

This will be Lyles’ third time competing at the World Relays after finishing as a member of runner-up squads for Team USA in both 2017 and 2019. It is an opportunity for him to showcase his skills and prepare himself mentally and physically for one of the biggest events of his career.
