Boys basketball nominees announced for Northeast Wisconsin sports awards

The Northeast Wisconsin High School Sports Awards is excited to announce the nominees for boys basketball player of the year. The winner will be revealed during the live show on June 13 at 7 p.m. at the Lambeau Field Atrium in Green Bay. Stay tuned for the announcement of our celebrity guest.

At the live show, these nominees will be recognized, along with athletes of the year in 26 other sports. Nominated athletes who RSVP will receive a free ticket to the event, thanks to our sponsors. The Northeast Wisconsin High School Sports Awards show is part of the USA TODAY High School Sports Awards program, which recognizes prep athletes, coaches and teams from various markets across the United States for their accomplishments during the 2023-24 school year.

The nominees for boys basketball are as follows: Pierce Arenz of Kiel High School, Tyler Brightman of Xavier High School, Grant Chandonais of Stevens Point Area Senior High, Stevie Clark of Oshkosh North High School, Brady Corso of Neenah High School, Drew Daoust of Southern Door High School, Donovan Davis of Freedom High School, Sam Ferge of Fox Valley Lutheran High School, Grady Geiger of Brillion High School and Trent Grunewald of Howards Grove High School are nominated for boys basketball player of the year.
