Orange County Health Inspections Lead to Restaurant Closures and Reopenings

Orange County eateries closed after health inspection (March 21-28) – Orange County Register

Food vendors in Orange County have been subjected to various health inspections from March 21 to March 28. During this period, several restaurants and other food outlets were ordered to close due to different reasons. Among those closed were Chick-fil-A in San Clemente and Malta Mexican Seafood in Westminster due to cockroach infestations, La Ranch Market in Stanton due to insufficient hot water, Bombay Grill Bar & Banquet in Yorba Linda due to a rodent infestation, and HB Bagels & Cafe in Huntington Beach and Quan An 909 in Garden Grove for the same reason.

However, some of these businesses were allowed to reopen after addressing the issues that led to their closure. For instance, Chick-fil-A in San Clemente and HB Bagels & Cafe in Huntington Beach both reopened on March 26 after dealing with cockroach infestations. Similarly, Malta Mexican Seafood in Westminster was also given the green light to resume operations on March 25 following the resolution of its cockroach problem.

In addition to these closures, there were also updates from last week’s list. Hole In The Wall Burgers in Lake Forest was ordered closed on March 20 due to a cockroach infestation but was allowed to reopen on March 22.

The information provided is sourced from the OC Health Care Agency database, and this list is published weekly with updates since the previous week’s list. Status updates are provided in the following week’s list.
